Hi,
I'm Susan Baroncini-Moe, and that's
exactly where I was a few years ago. I had
a pretty good idea about the things I wanted
in life. I knew I wanted my bills paid and I wanted
to be able to travel, and I knew there were a few items
that would be nice to have one day, but it was
all sort of vague.
As
far as figuring out "how to get from here to there,"
I was a bit stumped. I saw all these people online who

I felt like I was spinning

Finally,
after a lot of research, I had a number...sort of. I

would cost...
...but
that's where I got stumped. Some of the things
I wanted, like the pool and the college funds, were
in lump figures. I knew how much it cost, but how much
would I have to save in the long run? And if I wanted
to finance something like that, how would I calculate
interest?
Plus,
what was the point of this exercise? How was
I going to achieve these lofty goals anyway?
When I looked at all the things I wanted, the bottom
line was so much bigger than I ever expected it to be,
and suddenly it all seemed so daunting.
I felt so discouraged.
I
realized that other people were probably experiencing
the same thing I was going through, so I checked around
and asked friends and clients how they answered these
questions. And I heard the same thing over and over:
nobody really had a good system for figuring

I
